About Me

I'm Anastasiia, a Lead Software Engineer and CNCF Ambassador. As an active member of the CNCF Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group (DHHWG), currently Merge Forward (MF) and organizer of Deaf in Cloud Native meetups, I'm committed to fostering a supportive community for Deaf and Hard of Hearing professionals in the cloud native space.

Technical Pursuits

Working at the intersection of Platform Engineering, DevOps, and SRE, I specialize in architecting and building reliable, scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure. I automate complex systems and platforms to improve the developer experience and accelerate software delivery using cloud-native technologies and AI.

Advocacy and Community Building

Joining the CNCF DHHWG has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to demonstrate my technical skills and advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the tech industry in parallel. Through this work, I aim to create more opportunities and support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing professionals in the cloud native ecosystem.

Mentored female teenagers with disabilities to boost their confidence and leadership skills for advocating for inclusion and basic human rights.

Mentored maths in sign languages, preparing students for STEM-focused curricula.

Led a coding workshop for deaf children at Artek summer camp, successfully guiding 80% to independently build autonomous driving cars.
